I received an email that was sharing the love on a coupon for a gallon of gas.

" I didn't realize it, but these coupons are good for one gallon of gas at most retailers.  I have seen them around, but until recently never took advantage of them, I never realized their actual worth..

Weather

We have had some crazy rain and wind lately.  I know there have been several tornados over the last few weeks all across the country.  Unfortunately, we all expect damage after one comes into the area.  What I was not expecting damage from was the wind!  Monday night, we had bad storms at our house.  I normally sleep through everything...but not this time.  We woke up to find one of our mature trees had taken a fall.  Luckily, not on Josh's new truck!

What the heck do we do with it now?

End of an Era

I had to say goodbye to my beloved Allen...my car.  It was a sad day on Saturday.  My eyes watered...I blame it on the pregnancy.  Anyway, the hubster has wanted a truck for who knows how long.  He finally found one in Tuscaloosa, AL that was a killer deal.  Since my car is older and more of a P.O.S. than his, we decided to trade it in.  One little catch, it's in my name only...so I had to go-morning sickness and all.  After a long day, I said goodbye to my dear friend and headed off to Birmingham to see Jill and her family.

Nowadays, you will catch me driving Flossy the 4-Runner (hubs old car).
