Party Cups

For NYE, we had some friends over for a low key pajama party. Instead of doing a traditional champagne toast, I decided to spice up the drink ware...though, I do love me some champagne flutes!  I figured these fit in better with the attire!

NOSE CUPS!

{the winner}

How great are these? We could not stop laughing at them!
I got them at a little novelty shop in Nashville...but i am sure if you google "nose cups" you can find them!

Bieber Fever No More

This is a random post (aren't most?).  I still have the fever...but  according to my local radio station, Justin Bieber cut his hair on Monday and lost 80,000 twitter fans after the pics were posted.  CRAZY.  Kind of sad to think that 80,000 peole only liked him for his hair.

Good thing I only have 174 twitter followers. I was thinking about cutting my hair next week!
On this note, I will leave you with my favorite Justin Bieber video featuring Usher.

Palm Springs

I just realized I never blogged about my trip to California over Christmas break.  My whole family (sans bro-in-law Brandon) went to Palm Springs.  It was a very relaxing week and a great place to just get away from it all.  Here are some pictures from our trip (this is a long post).

Palm Springs, California
it was around 60 degrees all week.
 Just beautiful!
 Views from our hotel

Dagan was asleep when we arrived to town, so this is what we got to see first thing the next morning!
love that smile.

we did a lot of lounging the first day-then it was off to dinner--very casual dinner!
(at least you can see my electric yellow sports bra)
More lounging...and drooling!
 Dagan with his paw paw
I like both their faces in this pic. Sorry Aub!
Shoulder sit can change his mood instantly!
Smiling at daddy!
One of the days, we decided to head up the Palm Springs Aerial Tram.
They say its like going from Mexico to Alaska--we gathered the warmest clothes we had and took off!
"Aboard the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway, World’s Largest Rotating Tramcar, you will experience a breathtaking journey up the sheer cliffs of Chino Canyon. Begin the 10 minute ride at the Valley Station – elevation 2,643 ft. and end at the Mountain Station – elevation 8,516 ft"
on the tram and looking fabulous! it was a bit rainy down below.

this would be me sitting on top of a picnic table...that is how much snow was up there.
Once we got to the top...this is what we saw.
Lunch at the Peak restaurant on top of the mountain.

Last night, Family Dinner

Our last morning in Palm Springs was Nate's Birthday.  Ash let him sleep in and then we surprised him with a donut cake in bed!
hugs from the baby!
We took a few more pictures and got on the road to LAX
