Friday Night Lights...Camera...Action!

Instead of movies this week, I am bringing you a little movie star gossip.
have you seen the additions to Kate Hudson's chest?
Here is the scoop from my favoriet mag, US Weekly:
"I have small breasts, obviously," Kate Hudson proudly proclaimed at the 2002 Golden Globes. "It's nice to be able to wear a plunging neckline and have it be elegant."
Looks like Hudson had a change of heart. An insider says in the new issue of Us Weekly that a plastic surgeon performed a small breast augmentation on the actress, 30, in late March. And the mom to son Ryder, 6, looked noticeably fuller on top while poolside in Miami on April 9.
Explains another source, "Kate makes jokes about her boobs, but her chest has always been one of her biggest insecurities."  Hudson's rep did not return requests for comment.
I think she looks great!

Chasing Charlie Designs

Hey Hey Readers!
I wanted to let you know about this super cute children's clothing blog!  My dear friend Jordan has started her own line of children's clothing and accessories.
These are not only adorable, but she has amazing prices!
Here is a little of what Jordan has to say about her shop:
"I have been sewing clothes for several of my friend's children and I love doing it! Children's clothes are so expensive and it is so hard to find something unique! Through Chasing Charlie, you can pick out the fabric/design and I will make the outfit! I do clothing for boys and girls, as well as baby gifts. I can also add a monogram to any outfit or gift."
Everyone needs to go check out Chasing Charlie Designs for more information.
I just ordered a burp cloth for my new nephew!

Rock-A-Fire Explosion

If you are a child of the 80's you remember Shobiz Pizza.  If you are a child of the 90's, Shobiz is the original Chucky Cheese.  Anyway, the below video was discovered all because of one question Paige popped on Facebook..."Who Is The Critter That Played Drums At Shobiz".  Immediately, I said Gorilla.  WRONG! He played the keyboard.  It was a Dog.
Anyway, after a small debate and attempt at reminiscing over our childhood, someone mentioned going to YouTube and checking out this video.

My Nephew Is Here!

Ashley, Nate, and Mom went to the hospital yesterday morning because Ashley's contractions were starting to consistently happen closer together.  They were in the hospital for several hours before Ashley got her epidural.  This pic shows the nurse and anesthesiologist after she got it.
With her contractions about 2 minutes apart and her being 6 cm dilated, the Doctor decided to break her water for her.  They were hoping the baby would follow the water and lower his head...in hopes he would slowly begin to make his way out.
{Waiting}
Finally, after 2 hours of the head not lowering, her Doctor recommended a c-section.
Mom, Nate, and Ash all headed to the delivery room.
At 10:18 pm (Central Time) we got the text from mom "He's Here".
Baby Boy Wright (No name yet) is 7lbs. 1 oz and 21 inches long.
Isn't my nephew beautiful?
Ashley is doing well...she is uncomfortable...but happy!
Welcome to the World Little Baby...With No Name!

Undomestic Goddess, Easter Edition

This year I decided to I wanted to try some Cake Pops that I had at Mary's house last year. These things are pure heaven (and sugar) on a stick!  I got the ingredients from Mary, the recipe online, and away I went!
If you are wondering what a Cake Pop is, here is one from Bakerella.
Super Cute, right?
Oh just you wait to see mine!
I started out with my favorite cake mix--FUNFETTI!
Follow directions and bake the cake.
After the cake is cooled, crumble it in a bowl and mix in the icing.
Mold cake to desired shape.  I was going for an "egg" look.
After you make them, follow directions for the Cake Melts (above) then spread on the cake pop.
Some directions say to drip on, dip in, smooth on.
Honestly...that doesn't work!
I tried every which way and could not get my cake balls to look like the ones above.
MINE.ARE. AWFUL!
I almost threw them away...but decieded it would be more fun to share them with the blogger world!
DRUM ROLL PLEASE....
Oh yah, look at those beauties!
i mean, have you ever seen a nicer cake pop?
So after trying to salvage the look of these cake pops, i thought, my untalented-ass would do a great job decorating with icing!
yes ladies and gentlemen...this is my Cake Pop Easter Basket.
Have you ever seen anything more heinous beautiful?
Luckily, my family doesn't care about presentation as much as taste! They were a hit!
HAPPY EASTER!
pretty sure the hubby is still embarassed by my decorating skills!
